Prepare to Shine at Your Wedding

In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary.  ~Aaron Rose

The first time you met, you knew you’d found the one.  It didn’t take long for the two of you to decide to spend your lives together.  Now, as you prepare to ride off into the sunset on your way to “happily ever after,” the thought of wedding décor may make you feel lost in the dark.  There are so many options to choose from, and finding a way to prioritize can seem overwhelming at first.  I am here to enlighten you (no pun intended).  If you are looking for something that can truly impact the look and feel of your entire event, look no further than lighting décor. Whether you are planning a small, intimate reception in your backyard, or a large get-together at a country club, lighting is the perfect way to set the mood and create the “wow factor” for your guests.  More than a trend, specialty lighting should be considered as essential to your reception décor as linens and floral arrangements.

There are many different types of lighting to choose from, but your vision for the event is more important than the equipment itself.  Whether you’d prefer for your lighting to make a statement by changing the color of the entire room, or you just want something soft and subtle to enhance the architecture, lighting can do just that.  The best thing about wedding lighting is the ability to customize.

To make your reception look fabulous and reflect your unique style and theme, lighting décor is an absolute must.  Now that you understand this, what’s next?  Watch for upcoming articles on types of wedding lighting, suggestions for local venues, and interviews with Milwaukee brides.  This is YOUR resource, so please provide comments and feedback on what else you would like me to highlight.
